The Georgia Partnership for Reform in Science and Mathematics (PRISM) is an initiative of the University System of Georgia designed to increase science and mathematics achievement for all P-12 students in order to improve their readiness for post-secondary education and careers by enhancing teacher quality, raising expectations for all stakeholders, and closing achievement gaps.

Georgia Department of Education — Georgia Performance Standards in Mathematics. The most noticeable difference between the former and the new curriculum in mathematics for Georgia schools is the use of performance standards. Mathematically Correct is a website created by educators, parents, mathematicians, and scientists who were concerned about the direction of reform mathematics curricula based on NCTM standards. Created in 1997, it was a frequently cited website in the so-called Math wars, and was actively updated until 2003.

The Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing (CEISMC) is a partnership uniting the Georgia Institute of Technology with many other educational groups, schools, corporations, and opinion leaders throughout the state of Georgia, toward one common goal: to ensure that K-12 students in Georgia receive the best possible preparation in science, mathematics, and technology as they seek their place in the modern world.

Clayton Math Matters. Jim Milgram is in the math department at Stanford and is one of the authors of the revised CA math standards. He was briefly affiliated with revising Georgia's standards between the initial draft and the final version but apparently didn't find the state DOE to be amenable to truly achieving high standards.

K-12 Mathematics Curriculum Center. K–12 MCC was established in 1997 at Education Development Center, Inc. Our mission is to help teachers and administrators make thoughtful, informed decisions about mathematics curriculum and instructional materials.
