On February 13, 2007, Choi Kwang Do Martial Art International announced its partnership with the Malaria Foundation International (MFI), and support of the foundation’s End Malaria – Blue Ribbon Campaign. Grandmaster Choi met recently with Dr. Mary Galinski, the Founder and President of the MFI, and both shared their organizational and personal visions regarding the health and well being of people across the globe. This meeting established a rapport and mutual desire to support each other’s goals. On April 25, 2007, CKD and MFI launched a joint awareness, education and fundraising campaign.

Members of the Emory University community have become supportive special partners in the fight against malaria. Emory University's relationship with the MFI has been a powerful demonstration of academia's involvement in community outreach at a global scale, in the interest of global health and economic development.
The Heartland Institute is a Chicago based think tank promoting public policy based on individual liberty, limited government and free market. The Heartland Institute believes that the profile of the malaria scourge needs to be raised and supports the MFI efforts to bring malaria awareness by means of the End Malaria - Blue Ribbon Campaign. The Student Coalition Empowering Emerging Nations (SCEEN) is an Emory-wide organization associated with the Emory Development Institute. Seeking to allow students, staff, faculty, and alumni to invest their expertise and time in development initiatives, SCEEN forms student groups and matches them with specific projects carried out by NGOs, businesses, and nonprofit organizations. They endeavor to increase their effectiveness while allowing the Emory community to connect intimately with professionals from all career paths interested in development, and without having to travel or make monetary contributions. SCEEN members have been instrumental in various aspects of MFI projects. They have provided assistance with the new website development, launching of the Blue Ribbons Campaign, analysis of malaria related information available on the web etc.
In January 2008, The Columbus Foundation issued a grant to the Malaria Foundation International from the Pohlman Family Charitable Trust Fund to be dedicated to our malaria educational work in the Zambia. Thousands of grants are made through the Columbus Foundation each year and the MFI is very honored to be selected this year as a recipient of this grant. Special Friends DONATE NOWThe American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH) is the principal organization in the United States representing scientists, clinicians and others with interests in the prevention and control of tropical diseases through research and education. The MFI officially launched the Blue Ribbon Campaign in Atlanta at the 55th annual meeting of the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, held from November 12-16, 2006 at the Marriott Marquis, with the distribution of inaugural Blue Ribbon pins saying End Malaria to all participants. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is an award winning pediatric hospital in Atlanta. MFI is grateful to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta for hosting the first Malaria Award Ceremony recipients in May 2006 in their historic garden. We also thank “Childrens” for their compassion for children worldwide, and their recognition of this symbolic inaugural event.
Finlays is a global integrated tea company focusing on the manufacture and sale of black tea, green tea, instant tea and decaffeinated tea. It also has other significant interests including coffee trading and packing as well as flower growing. James Finlays (Kenya), is a subsidiary of the SWIRE group and started operation in Kericho Kenya, in 1925. The Kenya site employs approximately 19,000 employees with about 75,000 dependants, all living on-site. James Finlay is committed to the welfare of its employees and provides on-site free medical care, free primary education etc. Malaria is a major burden and cuts into the company’s welfare expenditure. James Finlay Kenya has thus partnered with MFI and is hosting the pilot projects for the Student Leaders Against Malaria (SLAM) program. James Finlay Kenya, is providing the computer lab with any necessary equipment, the infrastructure which includes installed cables, phone lines etc, the technical expertise, as well as the volunteer teachers from its schools.
“Hedge Funds vs. Malaria” was launched on 20th September 2005 as a drive by the Hedge Funds community to raise awareness and raise funds to help eradicate malaria from the world. Mr Lance Laifer the co-founder of Hedge Funds vs. Malaria launched the inaugural event at the New York Marriott Marquis. Since then the MFI has joined hands with the Hedge Funds Community to organize several key events and campaigns. The MFI organized the First Annual Atlanta "Hedge Funds vs. Malaria" Business Leadership Conference held at Emory University on December 6, 2005. The conference brought together a distinguished group of business, medical, advocacy and theological leaders to present their insights on Africa, business, leadership and malaria. MFI has also supported the Hedge Funds vs Malaria efforts with “Dunk Malaria”, “Fast Against Malaria” and “Madness Against Malaria”
House of Henri is the Award Winning Fashions based in Lagos, Nigeria. Henrietta Agboola, CEO of House of Henri and her staff show cased their immaculate fashion designs at the 2006 Paltalk Malaria Business Leadership Conference. House of Henri has joined hands with MFI to encourage companies doing business in malaria endemic regions to be active participants in the war against malaria. Founded in Atlanta Georgia in May 2004, Ogooue Foundation is aiming to be the voice of the voiceless, while helping many Africans in the United States and in Africa and promoting projects that directly benefit millions in need. As an outcome of the MFI's Malaria Business Leadership Conference in December 2006, the MFI has worked closely with the Ogooue Foundation, with exceptional in kind support to achieve results towards common goals.
