• An animated version of the life cycle of Plasmodium falciparum is available at the WHO/TDR website.

• The Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research of the FDA's website offers a presentation on malaria including epidemiology, life cycle and biology, and diagnosis.

• The WHO Regional office in South-East Asia (SEARO) site provides the life cycle of the two most prevalent human malaria parasites: P. falciparum and P. vivax.
