Malaria Eradication Camp

Dr.P.Prameelamma, STEPS President, conducted  a medical camp on 30-8-2008 in Thagallapalam village and Quasy colony areas. Medical checkup and free medicines were distributed to 300 malaria affected people.

THAMGALLAPALAM QUARRY WORKERS SUFFERING WITH DISEASES

SURYA Daily news paper, Sunday 31 August 2008 Srikalahasti town, Major News: The quarry workers in Thagallapalam Quasy quarry in Thottambedu mandal are suffering with diseases due to crusher pollution, unprotected and insufficient water supply. Many people including children  are suffering with Malaria, fever and cough. Dr. P.Prameelamma president STEPS conducted free medical camp in these areas. Medical checkup and free medicines were given to the people. She created awareness about health hygiene and advised them not to drink the polluted water.

Awareness programme in Hostel   

Blue Ribbon Clubs in Thottambedu
Girl students in Thottambedu Girls High School and hostel were motivated to form Blue Ribbon Clubs. Dr. P.Prameelamma met the students and created awareness about infectious diseases. Explained the importance and objective of starting the Blue Ribbon Clubs. She asked the teachers to cooperate in the formation of clubs

Dr.P.Prameelamma, President STEPS conducted free medical camp on 14-6-2008 in Thottambedu village. Clinical examination conducted for 200 people and free medicines were distributed.

FREE MEDICAL CAMP CONDUCTED BY STEPS

Free medical camp conducted by Dr. P. Prameelamma, STEPS President. Patients suffering from malaria and other diseases were examined and medicines were distributed. She explained to them not to consume water collected from ponds and the importance of boiling water before consumption. The village's president, Mr. Siddaiah, participated in the program.
